Williams Lake Celebrates Spirit of BC Week 2007

Williams Lake was one of more than 83 communities to celebrate Spirit of BC Week 2007. The community hosted Get active, Go skate - a free skate and swim day. The TimberWolves Hockey team was on hand to skate, practice and teach and inspire young people to get active and play sport. Healthy snacks were served by the Williams Lake Minor Hockey.

Spirit of BC is a province-wide program that involves 95 Spirit of BC committees, representing over 200 communities across the province. These committees support local programs and help create opportunities in sport and recreation, arts, literacy, volunteerism, business and tourism.
