North Okanagan Celebrates Spirit of BC Week 2007

Among more than 83 communities to celebrate Spirit of BC Week 2007, Armstrong, Coldstream, Enderby and Spallumcheen offered residents a free public skate with live music by the Pleasant Valley Secondary School Concert Stage Band. The Interior Provincial Exhibition mascot was also on-hand to give out Spirit of BC Week souvenirs and balloons.

Spirit of BC is a province-wide program that involves 95 Spirit of BC committees, representing over 200 communities across the province. These committees support local programs and help create opportunities in sport and recreation, arts, literacy, volunteerism, business and tourism.
