2010 Legacies Now provided $5,000 annually, through 2003, to the BC Olympic Youth Leadership Academy.
Each year, 50 secondary students from across BC attended the week-long academy where they experienced the three pillars of the Olympic movement - sport, culture and the environment - through numerous activities and presentations. The youth heard from Olympic and Paralympic athletes, and particpated in workshops focused on goal-setting, team building, event management, and other topics.
