Story

The Road to 2010 Community Tour brought the spirit of the Games to communities by highlighting Olympic and Paralympic athletes and offering interactive Games-related displays and mascot visits.

More than 157,750 people visited the tour, which featured interactive winter sports, such as virtual skiing and sledge hockey. The tour was a partnership of the Province of BC, 2010 Legacies Now and VANOC. It stopped in Victoria, Courtenay/Comox, Kelowna, Kamloops, Richmond, Quesnel, Prince George, Duncan, Vancouver, Revelstoke, Burnaby, Nelson and Clearwater.
