Story
The 2009 Spirit of 2010 Hockey Tournament involved more than 47,000 young hockey players in 97 communities across BC. In total, 228 spring tournaments took part in the seventh annual celebration of healthy living, community spirit and amateur sport.
Each player received a commemorative Spirit of 2010 hockey puck and the chance to compete for a Spirit of 2010 trophy and hockey jersey.
The tournament was in partnership with the Province of British Columbia, BC Amateur Hockey Association and the Vancouver Canucks.
