SportFit was a fun, interactive tool to get children and youth interested in physical activity through discovering new sports. Created in 2003, SportFit enabled participants to discover new ways of being physically active by identifying sports matching each participant's personal preferences and physical abilities.

Participants performed a series of eight physical activities and answered a short online questionnaire. SportFit then produced a certificate listing three summer and three winter sports that best suited the participant. SportFit also contained a sport directory linking children and youth to sport clubs and facilities in their area, and showcased 78 Olympic and Paralympic sports with multimedia lessons for students and teachers.

As of 2010, more than 79,100 youth participated in SportFit. The program was supported by the Province of British Columbia, Sport Canada and CTV. Visit for more information.
