Story
2010 Legacies Now was about the celebration of the human spirit. Our new logo, launched in 2005, captured this emotion as a figure with its arms raised up in triumph.
Using the same colours as the logo for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games, each colour represented elements from nature and culture: green for growth, life and sustainability; dark blue for the sea that sustains and connects us to the world; light blue for the sky and the dreams it holds; red for passion and the fire we all have inside; and yellow for the warmth of friendship and community.
This logo conveyed energy and vitality, capturing everything from a celebration of personal achievement, to a gold medal win, to simple pride in having contributed to a good cause. The logo symbolized the heights to which we can all aspire.
