RBC 2010 Legacies Now Speaker Series

In 2006, 2010 Legacies Now launched a speaker series to help BC businesses and communities learn from experts in the Olympic and Paralympic Games industry.

From 2006-2008, the RBC 2010 Legacies Now Speaker Series brought ten speakers to BC to share their knowledge and advice. Each speaker presented in Vancouver and participated in a question-and-answer interview which was webcast live for the world to see. The speakers also travelled to other BC communities for additional presentations.

The following speakers were presented by the RBC 2010 Legacies Now Speaker Series:

  • Margy Osmond, chief executive, State Chamber of Commerce, New South Wales, Australia
  • Bill Malone, executive director, Park City Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Bureau
  • Felicity Shankar, chief executive, Javelin Europe marketing consultants
  • Craig Phillips, secretary general, Australian Olympic Committee
  • Mark Lewis, president, Jet Set Sports
  • Dr. Jacques Rogge, president, International Olympic Committee
  • Alan Pascoe, chairman, Fast Track
  • Jaime Rupert, strategic communications expert, Reputations Corporation
  • Di Henry, Torch Relay expert
