Funding of $5,000 from Explorations allowed the Central Okanagan School District to hold an arts, sport and recreation camp for 37 children aged five to 13. The five-day 2005 Okanagan Circus Arts Camp hosted at the Sensisyusten House of Learning in Westbank attracted participants from eight schools in district. Activities ranged from unicycling to stilt walking and acrobatics. The camp helped students build physical awareness, strength, self confidence and performance skills. Families attended the closing circus performance.

Explorations provided students in kindergarten to Grade 7 with opportunities to explore arts, sport and recreation in summer camp settings. The program, which ran from 2005-2008, served students who were otherwise unable to attend summer camps due to location, local resources or financial limitations. Explorations was supported by the Province of British Columbia.
