Story

Wells held a variety of events to celebrate Spirit of BC Week 2008, one of more than 100 BC communities to do so. An estimated 150 people attended activities such as a scavenger ski hunt where participants skied, snow shoed and walked around the town and its trail system. The library hosted a literacy event where author and biologist Chris Czajkowski spoke about her adventures in the Caribou Chilcotin area. In addition, a community appreciation dinner was held for all volunteers in the District of Wells.
