Boston Bar Celebrates Spirit of BC Week 2007

Boston Bar, one of more than 83 communities to celebrate Spirit of BC Week 2007, held a gala event for 500 volunteers of the Hope Region. The annual appreciation night featured music, specialty desserts and keynote speakers to honour volunteers from sport and recreation, literacy, social services, schools, community groups, churches, arts, culture, music and a variety of other groups.

Spirit of BC Week is an annual province-wide celebration of British Columbia and its unique communities. Held each February, it is a week of over 300 events and activities showcasing local programs and services that strengthen community arts, literacy, sport, recreation and volunteerism.
