Story

From 2009-2010, more than 120 youth participated in Zero Ceiling at Grouse, a snowboarding program for at-risk youth which offered personal development through adventure-based learning.

2010 Legacies Now also funded employment skills training offered by Zero Ceiling through a certification program for youth to teach snowboarding lessons. From 2005-2009, 2010 Legacies Now supported the Zero Ceiling Work-to-Live program, working with youth agencies throughout BC to select individuals who were ready to turn their lives around. These youth spent a year undertaking employment and life-skills training to become alpine-sports-accredited recreational leaders.

The Zero Ceiling at Grouse program was supported by the Province of B.C. and Grouse Mountain.
