Story

Founded in 2004, the First Nations Snowboard Team  used sport to create a legacy of healthy, physically active youth who strive for personal excellence. The team offered a recreation program where youth could improve their snowboarding skills in a comfortable environment, and a high-performance team which offered athletes training by a world-class coach.

The First Nations Snowboard Team was funded by the Aboriginal Youth Sport Legacy Fund, which was established by the Province of BC, Vancouver 2010 Bid Corporation, and the Squamish and Lil'wat Nations, and was administered by 2010 Legacies Now. Visit fnriders.com for more information about the team.
